Business Card Design 1

Now that I'm in the final classes for school, one of those classes is a career development class. We had to create three business card designs to start. Not really knowing where to start I began finding images on the internet of the typical things related to film. Then, with the images I found, I took them into illustrator and made basic outlines of them. I took one of the outlines and brought it into photoshop onto my business card and the vector was too large for it, but I liked the way it happened to be placed on the artboard. I played around with different colors and these are the two I liked best, and the text is similar to the lights you would find around a theatre. What I like best about this design is the simplicity of it. It isn't overbearing and cluttered, it's easy to ready and the composition isn't typical.
